Iron Fish in a Wine Barrel

Our customer wanted to protect her goldfish from her dog’s paws—the dog thought the barrel was a new swimming pool. She had a simple request: “Make sure it keeps my 70-pound dog out, but I want it to look nice.” We took that simple request and put in 110% to create a unique design that was both attractive and sturdy. We also attached a hinge to make the fishpond easy to clean and access.

Made from iron and painted with a black waterproof coating, the cover features a sturdy hinge and a slight overlap that allows it to rest securely on the rim of the barrel.
