The Blanket Chest of Holding

This chest was built for a customer who has a large collection of blankets and quilts. She asked us not to use plastic because it can damage the materials over time. She wanted something sturdy that would last for many years to come. This chest was a project that took some time, but in the end, it came out amazing.

The exterior is made from cherry wood, while the interior is lined with cedar. The frame is made from hand-welded iron, and the handles are hand-forged and twisted iron.
